College Football Bible…

…According to Mopper

Point Of View

I hope that by now you have discerned the nature and purpose of this blog. I am a huge fan of the sport of College Football, that much is made clear by the title of this very blog and the content that lies within. I do not submit allegience to one team, or conference, though if a gun was put to my head I would confess a strong allegience to the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. I am sure that I am the only one of my kind, UC Football fans with a blog, not that it matters, for your eyes only. Though rejoice, I will very rarely harp on my team of rooting intrest, unless there is something that transfixes my attention. (example found here)  But I must stress the fact that I look at the sport with the whole picture in mind, or at least I try to maintain that general perspective as well as I can manage. I do not engage in conspiracy theories, if you fell the need to offer one up I will usually mange to wholey supress and mutilate it with Ray Maualuga like intensity and aggression. I usually avoid hyperbole at all costs, though there are some things that cause me to gush overboard with wonderful things to say, those topics are few and far between. I keep historical perspective on hand most of the time. When it comes to the game itself. I love a good old fashioned defensive struggle. The 2005 Third Saturday In October matchup is required viewing as far as I am concerned.

Not too far behind in terms of understanding my perspective on Football is last seasons TCU Texas Tech game. Those Horned Frogs were ready.

Not to say that I am above the carnal pleasures of an offensive juggernaught.

Nor that I don’t enjoy a purly offensive contest of points and yards, I just perfer great defense over great offense.
